The Nintendo Switch Lite game console will bring improvements instead of the Nintendo Switch. Because, in the latest FCC product listing, Nintendo Switch Lite will carry an increase in terms of battery.
As we quoted from The Verge, Tuesday (6/8/2019), Nintendo Switch Lite has a battery life a few hours longer than the Switch.
This is not supported by the amount of more battery capacity, but from a more efficient processor.
Based on the photo of the innards of the device presented at the FCC, the Nintendo Switch Lite has a 13.6 watt-hour (Wh) battery. This means that it is 16 percent smaller than a 16Wh Switch.
One reason why Switch Lite has better battery life even though the battery is small is because this device requires less power to operate.
This device also has a smaller screen and does not have a Joy-Con controller that can be removed. Thus, Nintendo Switch Lite does not need to charge the battery for the use of Joy-Con.
Nintendo said, it uses the latest chips that are more efficient and power efficient.
Latest Processor
Apart from that, Nintendo also uses a different board with other Switch models. Each is named after an important figure in Norse mythology.
Based on the picture, at the bottom of the mainboard there is a processor and on the left there is a USB type C port. On the Switch, the processor used is Odin or ODNX01-A2.
Meanwhile on Switch Lite, there is the inscription "VALI" which is also the name of the child of the god Odin. Meanwhile, the processor used is Modin which is a revised version of ODIN.

As the name implies, this console is a more affordable variant of the first generation Switch that Nintendo had introduced a few years ago.

Nintendo says this console can play all of the Switch games that support the handheld mode. Therefore, Switch Lite users who try to buy digital games but do not support handheld mode will be automatically warned.
There are three color variants available for Nintendo Switch Lite, namely yellow, gray, and turquoise. In addition, there are also other models with the theme Pokemon Sword and Shield.
The plan, Nintendo Switch Lite will be priced at USD 199, or around Rp. 2.8 million on September 20, 2019. While models with the Pokemon theme will be present on November 8, 2019.
