PUBG Corporation has opened full details about the 2019 PUBG Global Championship (PGC), which was the highlight of the first PUBG Esports season. The PGC will be held for 3 weeks, starting with the Group Stage (November 8-10) and the Semifinals (November 15-17) held at the OGN Super Arena in Manhattan Beach, CA. The competition will close with the Grand Finals (November 23-24) in Oakland, CA when the best teams meet at the Oakland Arena for a total prize pool of at least $ 2 million and an opportunity to win the 2019 PUBG Global Champions title.
Starting November 5, Players can dress up and celebrate PGC with a variety of exclusive in-game items, with 25% of sales going to the 2 million dollar PGC prizepooll, increasing bets and directly supporting teams. And also with every purchase of any PGC item, players can get a chance to join the PGC Pick'Em Challenge event, where they get the chance to predict the winning team. During the Grand Final (Nov. 23-24), the PGC pre-show broadcast will begin at 4:30 PM PST, followed by the official broadcast on 5 PM PST. PUBG Global Championship brings together all the best teams from the PUBG Esports League around the world PUBG Korea League (PKL), PUBG SEA Championship (PSC), North American National PUBG League (NPL), PUBG Europe League (PEL), and Chinese PUBG Champions League ( PCL). The stage group will feature 32 teams, and the bottom 8 teams will be disqualified after 3 days. The semifinals will display the remaining 24 teams, before 8 teams will be eliminated. The Grand Finals will feature the remaining 16 teams fighting in the Oakland Arena for 2 days, with 6 matches per day, until one team emerges as the 2019 PUBG Global Champion.
