Apple officially issued a warning to old iOS mobile users. According to the company, starting November 3, determining the GPS position, time, and date on older iOS devices can fail.

Apple issued this warning, especially for the iPhone 5 and earlier models. Likewise with the iPad 4 and previous models.

In other words, iPhone 5 or iPad 4 users must upgrade at least to iOS 10.3.4. Additionally, older devices need to be upgraded to iOS 9.3.6 to avoid problems.

The China Giz page informs, Apple officially said, "Users who use older devices need to update their device to the latest iOS version on November 3 to ensure GPS, date and time is up and running. If the user doesn't update to the device before 3 November, some older models may not be able to make accurate GPS positioning, "said an Apple representative.

Additionally, iOS devices that are not updated before 3 November 2019 may not be able to receive over-the-air software updates. In this case, a feasible way to update the system is to restore it in iTunes or Finder through a tethered connection.
