Instagram introduces a new interactive feature for users, namely Sticker Chat. This feature can be accessed on Instagram Stories.
Through this feature, users can start group conversations with friends directly from Instagram Stories.
Users only need to use Sticker Chat to start a conversation about various things, for example the latest Netflix series. The conversation can then be done on Instagram's Direct Message (DM) feature.
So, how do you use this current feature?
First, you can open the Instagram Stories menu, then take the photo or video you want to share with the Stories.
Next, you can add Sticker Chat from the sticker gallery. You do this by pressing the square smiley icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Then, you can give a name or topic of conversation that you want to start with your friends.
Followers and friends who see Stories can tap on the sticker to submit a request to join in the group conversation that has been made.
From the list, the Stories maker can choose to accept or reject the friend's request to join the group conversation.
If the Stories maker decides to accept the Join Chat request, they will see a new group conversation in Direct Message (DM).
The Stories maker can then end the group conversation at any time.
